Scrap book as gifts.

One of the most rewarding types of scrap book is one that you intent to give as a gift. They make so wonderful gifts and they work for practically every occasion. You will find that the handmade and unique touches that you add will show the person that you truly care. You will find that there are some people who will receive your gift and they may become inspired to create their own scrapbook and this is the perfect way for you to spread the interest in scrap booking to friends and family members.

There are many different types of scrapbooks that you can give someone, but there are many themes that you can use in the books as well. One of my favorite types of themes makes a good gift for a graduate or someone moving away—use pictures from throughout the years of the person growing up and end with a recent picture and some blank pages so the album an be continued. Pages that are made in continuation will also make good future gifts as well, because they can add to their scrapbook each year. This is also a good idea for couples celebrating their wedding or anniversary. Instead of just having a traditional wedding album, include pictures of both people from before they met and then create pages of their life together.

If you are gathering pictures for the photo albums may need you to be a little sneaky so you will want to talk to friends and family and try to gather up photos that have been forgotten or that you can be enjoyed by all. Remember, never scrapbook using a person’s original photographs without asking first. Instead, make high-quality color copies at your local photocopy center. If you use the machine in the correct manner, you will not be able to see a difference in the copies and the originals.

Be careful to replace the photographs exactly as you found them, not only to prevent the recipient from finding out the surprise, but also as a common courtesy. Even for those who do not plan on doing scrap booking, keep a good system on storing their photographs in a specific order.

For those who do not have the access to photographs and would like to give a scrap book as a gift to someone who likes to do the scrap booking, you can always give them a kit or plan a layout for them. There are ways that you can give an empty album and do the page designing, but allow the person to crop or add the photos, but you will wan to make sure that the pages in the group can be added or taking away so that you can keep the book up to date. Truly, the best bet is for you to not give an album to a scrap booker, but a box or bag full of supplies or some money for them to spend at the local craft store.

You will find that you can personalize the gift as well. You will want to think about themes and purchase letters that spell a specific name. However, with a little bit of creativity and the love for arts and crafts, this could be the perfect gift for anyone.
